This tier is perfect for fluid art enthusiasts who desire a customised experience that allows them to explore a combination of techniques. Work with me one-on-one to craft a piece that is uniquely yours—we can even work on your own canvas(es) if you like.

Add a 4-coaster set for just R300. Quality black felt backing cut to size and adhered by me personally, R50 per coaster set.

Opt for professional finishing of your artwork with two coats of high gloss or matt varnish, applied with care by me personally. Varnishing cost will depend on the canvas size(s). For coasters, varnishing costs R150 per set of four.

PRE-SESSION CONSULTATION

We begin with a pre-session consultation (in-person, telephonically, or video call) to discuss your artistic preferences, goals and vision. This will determine the technique or combination of techniques we will employ.

HANDS-ON INSTRUCTION

Dedicated one-on-one instruction and step-by-step guidance in a session built entirely around your personal style and vision. Try your hand at a practice pour, testing your colour palette and making adjustments before the main pour.

ART MATERIALS

Stretch canvas (50x40cm or similar size) for practice ~ this allows you to test your colour choices and get a feel for the technique(s) you have chosen. Two practice canvases are included for a diptych, three for triptych, etc. The canvas(es) for your main masterpiece will depend on our pre-session consultation and if provided by me, will be a premium quality (not student grade). Disposable gloves provided.

PREMIUM PAINTS & MEDIUMS

You'll have at your disposal a variety of high-end acrylic, metallic, interference and special fx paints (like glow-in-the-dark or neon uv) that allow for rich colour intensity and dynamic effects. Specialised pouring mediums will help you achieve the most incredible effects in your artwork—like pearls, cells and lacing—without oily additives.

Just you and me! Personalised attention and a friendly, communal vibe. Light refreshments such as tea, coffee and biscuits, or a glass of wine if you prefer.

EXTENDED SESSION DURATION

The length of your session will be decided during our pre-session consultation and will depend on the number and size(s) of canvases painted. Rest assured you will have ample time to experiment, refine and perfect your artwork.

WHAT TO BRING

Nothing! Unless the arrangement is for you to bring your own canvas(es). I can provide you with an apron, but I suggest you still wear old clothes in case you get paint on yourself.

CAN I TAKE MY ARTWORK HOME?

No, remember this is very fluid paint! Your artwork will be placed upon a level drying surface and covered with a plastic tent to ensure that it dries slowly ~ this minimises the possibility of cracking. You can collect your paintings once dry, usually a few days to a week.
